It’s officially Christmas time and I’m officially stoked about it. Hence the yearly Christmas Question Survey! These are always interesting, right?

Have you been naughty or nice this year?

What a question. AS IF I could be anything but nice.

What do you want most for Christmas?

Time off. Guess what? I get it! WOOT!!!

Do you believe in Father Christmas?

Only when I watch Christmas movies and my heart grows three sizes.

What is your favorite food at Christmas?

Mom’s Eggnog Lattes and Christmas Coffeecake. Do you see a theme? 🙂

Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?

Ha. I start Christmas shopping in September.

Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet?

Sadly, yes. I love Christmas shopping, but a tighter budget this year has forced me to cut back. So this year I’m giving everyone I love as much non-monetary-requiring love as possible. That’s what it’s all about anyway, right?

What is your favorite Christmas song?

My new fave is MercyMe and Amy Grant’s duet version of Silent Night. Go thou and take thee a listen.

What is your favorite Christmas movie?

I know it’s not Christmas-y per se, but this year I’m hankering after You’ve Got Mail.  “In the meantime, I’m putting up more twinkle lights.”

What do you look forward to most at Christmas?

GOING HOME

What are you doing for Christmas this year?

GOING HOME! 🙂 I. Cannot. Wait. Snow! Mom food! Beautiful Oregon! Family! Friends! Trees! Clean air! Doggie! Mountains! Stars! Christmas!

Who do you want to kiss under the mistletoe?

Mr. Hot and Godly himself, of course!

What kind of Christmas tree do you have?

We didn’t get one for Adam’s house. BUT, we got the BEST evergreen candle ever from Bath and Body Works, and about a million wreaths. 🙂 So we’re doing pretty good in the cheery decor department.

Do you take part in a secret santa?

We used to, with extended family, but I’m pretty sure it was rigged. Somehow my uncle always got Denver, and proceeded to shower him with slingshots and pocket knives.

Do you go to any Christmas parties?

My work caught the Bah-Humbug and canceled ours, but Adam’s work is going to the Boat Parade and I get to tag along.

Have you ever had a white Christmas?

Last year we had an incredible white Christmas, and I’m crossing my fingers for the same this year.

How early do you wake up on Christmas morning?

I sleep in. It’s a rare occasion, and I’m gonna take advantage! But then, “sleeping in” for me is like 7:30.

Do you still get a stocking?

My mom used to when we were kids, and last year Adam surprised me with a giant stocking of my favorite things.

How many Christmas cards do you normally send out?

This year, none. Yay for wedding invitations and writer’s cramp!

What is your Christmas wish?

Peace on Earth, Goodwill to Men
