Easter and what-not
First off, I’d like to apologize to the dozens of readers who’ve found this blog by searching “how to deal with internet meanies”. Obviously, once you came here, you realized that my method is to rant and rave and demand that everybody play nice. Not sure it was helpful, so sorry about that. Let me know if you find a better solution, as that does sound like a promising search.
Second off, somebody special just got engaged, which gets me all smiley and giggly. Read the very sweet story here. It’s like jelly beans for the soul.
You know what else is like jelly beans for the soul? Wild animals. And friends who will walk with us for miles to see said wild animals in the Wild Animal Park. I declared to Adam that in my next career I’m going to be an elephant-keeper, to which he gave me a hug and said “awesome!” He is so cool.
Another thing that is very like jelly beans is the Asher Bean, our little nephew who never gets any attention at all. We got to hang out with him and other members of Adam’s extended family for Easter, which is now mine, which is still incredible. We’re going back tonight for March Madness and plenty of trash-talk, which of course is just about the only sporty thing I can excel at.
Hope your Easter was sweet and hopeful too.
