Every day… (Five Minute Friday)
I stole this from Gitz.
I’m going to write for five minutes about “Every day…”
Every day…
I wake up next to the love of my life.
I check my email too much.
I plan something scrumptious for dinner, imagining the excitement on my hubby’s face that night when I tell him what it is. (After almost three years of marriage, he still gets excited. Every. Night.)
I water my plants. (I’m trying to grow a pepper, a watermelon and a tomato plant on my deck. Their fates are still doubtful but I remain optimistic.)
I write. Often it’s boring – marketing-speak or projects for clients – but sometimes it’s only for me.
I text my Hubs love-notes.
I make messes. I leave shoes in the living room, clothes on the bedroom floor, dishes in the sink, my keys on a counter, wherever I was leaning last. As my mom says, “I’d forget my head if it wasn’t attached”.
I learn to be grateful. For every day. Every day.
